You hit exactly the right tone. And you are exactly right- I set up the poster sessions this way so that students could get alternative perspectives on carriers in genetics and genomics. The students get enough lecturing from me. I often feel that they get so concerned with the details that they fail to appreciate that how what they are learning could be useful beyond the course.
